Ubuntu is on the to-do list, but will probably not be available at launch. I suspect the biggest difference is really only the install process, but I want to get Lifeboat available to the public soon.

@Geoff_Perlman - this is the thread on the forum I mentioned in the hangouts session today.
Lifeboat should be considered for an award when it is released.
