App specific password for notarization

I’m a bit confused (starting to be common with Apple instructions :frowning: )

Is the application specific password required for notarization specific to MY application (the one to be notarized) or just one for notarization and the same for all my applications?

The Application Specific Password is one password for all your apps which requires notarization.

I believe the “Application” here does not refer to your application but Your account as the Application or Applicant.

It’s the password used by the application to do the Notarization, not a password for your application that you’re Notarizing.

A bit like the modern day credit card security, whereby you can have a unique card number for each place/time you use your credit card.
