Installation Error

Hi, I just downloaded Xojo for windows today for a trial. After installation I get the following error “The program cant start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.” After pressing the “OK” box, I get the message “Failed to locate Framework DLL”
I reinstalled 3 times in vain. I am using a windows 7 laptop. What should I do?

Minimum requirements is Windows 7 SP1. Could it be that SP1 is not installed?

I am using Windows 7 Home Basic on an Acer atom based laptop.

Make sure SP1 is installed.
