REALBasic: OLEContainer - Microsoft Word

Just curious -

Have any of you had any luck using an OLE Container to implement a Microsoft Word document (or however you want to call it) into a RB / Xojo application?

I haven’t attempted it, but have extreme curiosity, as it seems like it would be an amazing way to implement a nice rich text editor for an application that is storing notes that would be very good if they can be properly formatted.

I have tried on a few occasions to implement either a Word or Excel OLE Container into Xojo, but no success yet.

Yes, it would be a great way to implement a text editor/spreadsheet into an application.
