Xojo support on RaspberryOS

Hi,

is it possible to run a xojo Programm, which is compiled for Linux on the RaspberryOS?

if raspberry meets the minimum specs & supported CPU types
http://documentation.xojo.com/index.php/System_requirements

Raspberry pi has arm processor, so no.

Is there another mini-PC-system where xojo runs, what you know?

Pico ITX mb’s running x86 or compatible processors like
http://www.via.com.tw/en/initiatives/spearhead/pico-itx/
Reports like this one http://www.tgdaily.com/hardware-features/65987-vias-pico-itx-board-has-a-quadcore-x86-chip make me think they should

As long as they can run a supported Windows or Linux install they should work

I’d be very interested in knowing this but looking at a lot of the Mini ITX boards about i can’t see why not. What Windows Os would you recommend? XP was the last best one I remember before abandoning for MacOs.

Windows only works on more demanding hardware. so the pcs are mostly bigger and more expensive.

I need a very small device where I could plug little displays in and which runs with xojo.

Not sure that is true, have a look at http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/embedded/artigo/a1000/

Or what about Windows embedded http://www.microsoft.com/windowsembedded/en-gb/windows-embedded-8-standard.aspx

The TGdaily article literally says
The bare-bones board supports DirectX 11 as well as full 1080p HD video playback - and should be able to handle various Linux flavors along with Windows.??
So you might be able to run Windows or Linux on that little board

Or is it posible to install Linux on an android-device?

Maybe but you still have to worry about the processor
It needs to be x86 or a clone (like an AMD)
