XOJO IDE: A way to clean project

at the moment it does
that just IS how it works

its a non-trivial change to make it behave differently
there is/ was an internal case I filed to change this but I have no idea how much or if that will occur given all the other priorities Xojo has

Thanks for having filled that case. This is a “foundation” issue; as such, I’d think the rest of the IDE would benefit from that change and should be done earlier.

it may be but the process that was in use when I departed had been this way since almost the first day when REALbasic was first written in REALbasic
and it is a big chunk of work to reinvent

[quote=472865:@Jerry Fritschle]I’m a neat freak too, so I may just accordingly edit modGTK’s methods with some “#elses”, based on your tip

Thanks for mentioning that… I’ve updated it in the repo.
