I don’t know what happened to the above link: www.redcort.com/careers
the commute from San Diego to Fresno would be a killer
Dave,
just try and beat the rush hours
Besides it is only a 6 hour one way drive…there are 24 hours in a day
bah who needs sleep, food, a life, etc ?
I grew up in Southern California. Once you get here, you’ll find no reason to make the return commute. Central California is one of California’s best kept secrets.
Clovis is a great place to live and super family friendly. Yosemite and the Sierras are in our back yard. It’s tough to beat if you like fishing, camping, backpacking, boating or cycling. Millerton Lake, Pine Flat, Bass Lake, Shaver Lake, Huntington Lake - all 30-60 minutes away.
We recently relocated our offices to a newly remodeled premium space in Old Town Clovis. It’s a very cool place to work.

Seasons
I like all 4 of ours
Seasons… we have four seasons in SoCal too.
Summer is 200 days, Fall is 120 days, Spring is 43 days, and Winter is a random day in late December
and I guess I don’t qualify for this position… he mentioned “young families”… IF I would have had children, THEY would be the “young family” age now …
One of the delights of moving north from LA was the fall color and change of seasons. Bought my first coat when I moved to the valley. We don’t get snow like Norman, but we don’t have mud season either. I like that in December ‘real winter’ an hour away in the Sierras and ‘spring’ 2 hours away on the central coast
Kids aren’t a prerequisite - just a datapoint on the area. I have 3 grown kids and 9 grandkids to hang with these days so I’m still glad for the family friendliness of the area.
Well I have lived in San Diego for 59 years so far… and don’t think I will be leaving this area unless the need or incentive is quite large
Dave, Understood… Diego is a nice place to live. Just publicly promoting the opportunity.
Redcort are good people - highly recommend for anyone in the area.
Good to see Xojo positions growing - I’ve seen a couple in Europe pop up too in recent months.
