XoJo Deployment

Hi There,

Just started looking at XoJo.
I create web applications and my main development environment is Visual Studio and I deploy to Windows web hosting servers.
Can I create webapps in XoJo and deploy to a Windows host server. I.E. GoDaddy, 1AND1 etc?
Most of my current webapps are .HTML or Asp.Net, is XoJo deployment the same as I normally do or something completely different and XoJo webapps will not work by deploying them like this.

Thanks for the reply.

So looking at the overview, XoJo cannot be deployed to a normal hosting environment.

When I say normal I mean hosting space purchased from webhosting companies such as GoDaddy , 123-reg.com, 1and1.com etc.
It seems I need to have more privileges than I would get with normal hosting.

Xojo web apps are executable web apps that have to be run on the server. This is typically not possible with shared hosting providers such as GoDaddy, 1and1 and others.

You’ll want to use a VPS (virtual private server) or stay tuned for Xojo Cloud, which will allow simple one-click deployment from Xojo itself.
