Xojo crashes on startup

I am attempting to run Xojo for the first time, but it crashes on startup. I am running Xojo version 2013.1.0.0 on Mac OSX 10.8.4.

From viewing the crash log, it appears to be trying to populate a recent items menu. Does anyone know if there is a workaround for this?

Recent items are stored in ~/Library/Preferences/com.xojo.xojo.plist - you might try renamin that file and see if it helps? If so, send the bad plist file to Xojo by attaching it to yoru feedback case so they can diagnose the crash.

That seems to have cleared the problem. I sent them the bad plist as you suggested. Thanks for the help!

I am trying to run Xojo for the first time, version 2013.2.0.0 on Mac OSX10.8.4.

Xojo tells me “This application has encountered a fatal problem and must be shut down.” and then will not run Feedback or let me download it.

Also, I do not appear to have any Xojo preferences or REALBasic preferences on my Mac.
