I installed 2026r3 on a Windows Server 2022 (which already has 2026r2.1 installed), and it crashes as soon as I try to either create a new Web project, or load an exisiting one. However, all the other project types (Desktop, Console, Android) seem to work just fine.

Not sure if related or a hint to the source of the issue, but the “Getting Started” window is completely blank without any of the icons, I only have the “Start using Xojo” -button and “Don’t show again” -checkbox visible.

On my Windows 11 Enterprise laptop (which also already has 2026r2.1 installed), everything works just fine, and the “Getting Started” -window is correctly populated.

In the Server 2022, the installation’s Scripts folder is empty, and Plugins folder only has three that I guess are included by default (MySQL, ODBC, PostgreSQL). I did try emptying the latter folder just in case, but to no avail.

What else can I try?

You might need to install the Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtime if Windows Server 2022 doesn’t comes with it:

Both the “Getting Started” window and Web project types relies on DesktopHTMLViewer, which are using WebView2 by default now.

That did the trick, thank you very much.
