Xcode 9: No run, no build

Renamed Xcode to XCode9
Downloaded and installed XCode 8 into Applications.
Still cannot hit RUN.
What is Xojo looking for?

Did you quit Xojo, then open xcode 8, then re-open Xojo?

Several times.

Did you change the Command Line Tools to Xcode 8 in Preferences?

Xojo 2015.
No such option appears in my preferences screen.

In the Xcode preferences. It does that weird command line thing that we needed to do.

Xcode shows 8.3.3 8E3004b in its command line tools preference.

Sorry that’s all I got

Yup, me too.
Not great.

Which version of Xojo are you using ?

Xojo 2015. release 3
Xcode will run and build for iOS, and my iOS developer certificate is present and up to date.

I think Xojo 2015 needs Xcode 7

Good grief.
Well, that would certainly explain it. Thanks

It might even be Xcode 6 you need.

Xojo 2016 allows me to debug tic-tac-toe with Xcode 8.

Xojo Version 2017 Release 3 seems to work ok with Xcode 9.
If you want to use earlier versions of Xcode, I think you need to I install the earlier version of the simulator and set that to be the default. I am pretty sure this is somewhere on the forum, so you might try searching here or use google

Be aware that you may, for now, need Xcode 8.3 to make your final build for the App Store.
