Writing a screen saver

Has anyone written a screensaver in XOJO for windows?
Quite a few examples for VB.
Just curious before I try to do this.

You should talk to Michael Diehr
I think he wrote a tool that lets people create screen savers in Xojo (http://iscreensaver.com) I think

Aaron Ballman wrote one…
the link is http://www.aaronballman.com/programming/REALbasic/ScreenSaver.html but is not live

…I do still answer what I can when people email me directly

Maybe you can contact him for the link.

Awesome, written in 2007 , and it works,!
Thanks Lennox & Norman.

OTT: Ah, if only the same could be said of OSX apps…

I have an application (and the project) that used old REALbasic ToolBar and still works.

It used a 4 characters code to display the OS X icon in the toolbar buttons… It fills some buttons with a set of old text files taken from an old .h file…

Really funny.

BTW: it was with Mavericks and my previous MacBook Pro 15" 2009-11…

Yes, iScreensaver (http://iscreensaver.com) was written in Xojo (REALbasic, actually) but for the OSX .saver module also requires XCode. Oddly, this is one of those “windows does it better” designs : on Mac a .screensaver is a code bundle and exists in a strange nether-world where it’s not a stand-alone app. OS X also handles .preferencepane the same way.
