Wrapping Web App as Chrome Plugin

Hi,

I am prototyping a web app and my intent is to eventually have it as a chrome plugin. I am wondering is it possible to wrap a web app into a chrome plugin? Make a web app into a chrome plugin? Has anyone done that?
