Windows Plugin

I am writing a windows plugin and noticed in the readme that when starting a project you should not add the headers for MFC and to remove stdafx.cpp., However, the device I am using has an sdk and uses these libraries so I need them in my plugin.

Can I use MFC in the plugin or should I do this a different way?

Thanks,

Tom

Does no one from xojo have any answer to this? I am assuming I cannot use the MFC libs with the plugin structure?

Thanks.

You can use MFC if you choose, but you will want to statically link in the MFC libraries. Xojo doesn’t currently have a way to preload plugin dependencies (that are not already on the system of course).
