# VAT for New Zealand and India

Hi,

just a notice for everyone out there selling software:

Since 1st December 2016, there is a 15% GST tax (Goods and Services Tax India) for india.  
And New Zealand introduced also a 15% GST tax 1st October 2016.

You may need to change your online shops and tax collection.

Of course if your sales go through Share-It, Fastspring, Apple, Microsoft or Amazon stores, they usually do it for you.
