Updating container controls

I added a button to my container control.

That container control was used on different views.
None of the views that were created before the container control was placed in the Designer/IDE before the update are showing the new button.
Must I go and delete my controls and replace them?
I hope i don’t loose anything….

Images of the views are cached in memory for performance. Reopen the project if they don’t refresh after making changes.
