Unable to connect

I am trying to connect to a SQL Server 2012 server and I get the following message

Error connecting to MS SQL Server. SQL Server Native Client not installed. Download the ‘SQL Server Feature Pack’ from www.microsoft.com.

However when I look at it again and try to install SQL Native CLient it says its already installed.

Any idea why it is not working

or use MBS SQL Plugin which does not need native client for MS SQL if you use right parameters.
