UDP Socket Question

Hi all,

Writing a quick utility for a friend, received UDP on one Port, processes it and spits it out on another port.

However, just dawned on me, the outgoing UDP Port is the same as his other software is listening to (same box). His software listens on port 20110, so I try and connect on localhost to same port to write, I’ll get a conflict will I not?

Anyone been here before?

Thanks, Richard

Discovered the answer tucked away in the Language Reference. Basically use another port, then in the Datagram add the port of the client. Did the trick.
