Time for a play

I’ve recently purchased a Asustor 302TE NAS device which obviously runs a version of linux. It has apache2 installed along with mySQL.

I figured this would be a good device for very small co’s to use as a “cloud” server with Xojo cgi WE, but I’m a Windows guy, so while I can access & configure the mySQL server I need a little help on the apache side.

Anyone interested? The object would be to publish a user guide for Xojo users, so no money in this.

. Perl installed?
. possible to change the document-root and the cgi-bin directory?
. create linux users possible?
. change permissions for users ?
. firewall configurable?
. Atom dualcore 1.6 ghz specially developed as embedded chip for NAS-like applications, performance as webserver enough?

Just some questions to get started…
