So, today I was brainstorming some ideas for the future of Xojo, I was thinking we should open up a Discord server for Xojo! If we become a Verified or a Discord Partner if them, we can have our own invite link like discord.gg/xojo THE LINK WAS A EXAMPLE AND WONT WORK.
so yea, comment your ideas below. 
There actually was a Discord server, but this morning it seems to be no longer available.

I shut it down as it no longer saw any meaningful traffic. I’ve tried a number of things over the years to increase participation, and was not able to keep high numbers. I did post a note before I closed it.

Maybe I could take your place in holding the server, we will have moderators, staff and a Verified Xojo staff member role.
With a strike system.
That’s kind of what I figured, and I don’t think anyone is really upset. It was very quiet.
I am excited for the first lunchtime meetup of 2021 to chat with everyone!

Tried that. No joy. Xojo will not be present, and any attempts to moderate met with overwhlemingly negative results.

You’re welcome to try, but I’ve been there and done that. I actually run Discord servers for some very large communities with massive engagement. This one fell flat for a number of reasons, one of which was moderation.

I would, but I don’t wish my experience managing the Xojo Users Discord Server on anyone.
Mines is called Xojo Community, new users will have a role called “Xojoians” the basic users then we will have chat levels. New responce to, PS: See you at the Xojo Conference at 2!
