I give in. I never said it was and I put “group” around it to indicate it wasn’t that feature. If that is lost on a none UK audience I apologise. To add more context “group” is the same as saying: a sort of grouping can be obtained by, but not exactly what is being asked…
I’m fully aware of what he, and you, are saying, but that isn’t ever what I claimed this to be.
Where have you read that anyone was telling you your use of GroupBox or Canvas controls didn’t produce the wanted result?
As far as I can tell, no one did. The only thing that was said is that Xojo is missing a way to do the same thing without adding an extra control to the layout. There’s nothing against your idea.

Everywhere, the request was for grouping controls without runtime impact. I offered something different, but thought I was clear on the difference.
That’s an awful lot of text for something that isn’t against the idea.
Either way I’m happy to leave it as it. It’s just generating noise at this point.
