It it possible to copy and paste a table to a text area.

Don’t understand what you are saying, I am using windows and just want a table pasted to a text area.

Not possible at design time. And there seems to be no way to load a table document into a TextArea. I tried RTF with no luck.

RTF works if you use Cocoa methods.
Did you see the “RTF Printing.rbp” example coming with my plugins?
It does load a table to print it.
