Well I recently got a LED IPS DELL U4320Q and I’m quite happy with it, it is way more productive than the ultra wide 43 that I had and quite nice, 9 months so far and no issues .
Windows has the power toys add on that lets you divide large monitors into smaller ones. My 49" ultra wide is divided into 3 smaller side by side monitors. All I have to do snap a window is hold the shift key and drag it. No problems with XOJO.
I keep meaning to reply to this…
I am using a 32" Dell S3221QS. It is a 4K curved VA display. I run it at 2560x1440 resolution, which is not quite retina but is HiDPI-enough for me. Ideally, my eyes would prefer a 5K 32" display but no one makes that. I use just a single display because I found that having multiple displays always gave me neck pain.
At this size, I do like that it is curved. I find that it helps reduce neck strain and makes things more visible through my progressive lenses.
Anyway, this is height-adjustable, with 2 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort and built-in speakers that sound OK. It is plenty bright, plus the colors and contrast are good. I think it works great for development.
