Spinning with Spinners

  1. Spinners do my let you lock all four corners.
I need my spinner to stay locked relative to my Logo.
But it wanders all over hell. Tried putting it in a container control and locking that: Still just goes wherever it likes.

  2. Whats up with this animation ? It should spin, not look like a broken film projector.

Have you tried putting both your logo and the spinner in one container?

The ProgressWheel is underneath a continuously executing JavaScript. As a result, it has literally a life of its own. It took a bit of voodoo to get it to behave from RubberViewsWE, so it scales and positions correctly when the window is resized.

Instead of relying only on the locking mechanism, you may want to reposition it in the Resized event. Or try RubberViewsWE to see if it can help.

Yes. Even weirder results.

I like that - it should be your new slogan.

RubberViews
A bit of voodoo.

In lieu of a fix that works right now, have a collection of spinner.gifs
They’re from my personal archives, when I see one I like I save it :stuck_out_tongue:

@Tim Parnell In WE do you display them in HTML areas?

That sounds reasonable.
Here it is as a self-contained img tag: http://pastebin.com/j68HQTKv
(no external files or anything)

They work fine as well in ImageWell as a URL (not dragged into the project).

I believe they would work as well as WebFile as URL for a Standalone program.
