[SOLVED] Feedback - where is link?

I’ve just created my first Feedback issue.

How do I get a url link for it so as I can post that link in an associated thread?

The “Gear” icon has a popup, “Copy Sharing Link” which is active when you have a case selected. It’s in the lower left of the window

What i do now is manually Copy Sharing Link, then manually Select All of the text in the case, then copy/paste each part to the forums.

What I wish for is a single click button which would “Copy entire case for pasting into Email” button. I’ll make Feature Request now.

Like it says on the tin.

Nowadays, when I want to post a copy of my Feedback case to the Xojo forums, what i do now is manually Copy Sharing Link, then manually Select All of the text in the case, then copy/paste each part to the forum. What I wish for is a single click button which would “Copy entire case for pasting into Email” button. I’ll make Feature Request now.

Workarounds:
Copy/Paste twice by hand.

I believe this forum has some special code to make it look pretty and work.

The actual URL will only work if you have feedback properly installed. I’m using Mac OS X and “it just works” - not sure about Windows versions. Which OS are you on?

I’m not sure what happened but a post of mine is missing whereby I explained that I subsequently realised that it’s a link to the Feedback program and yes, it work. I was initially using the ‘link’ button to format the link and hence why it didn’t work.

The forum claims you deleted that post, maybe you hit the delete button?
