Could someone kindly tell me how to share images from Dropbox, so that they show up using the img tags?

I seem to be a throwback because my DropBox folder set up a Public folder for me. That doesn’t seem to be the case anymore, but if you have one, throw your image into it (or within a subfolder), and right-click to get a public link. Use the image icon above the post to have it show up as an image.

Does anybody else have a substantial amount of free space from all the promotions? It makes it so hard to be mad at Condi.

I have just tried to create a folder called Public containing my image - FAIL!
I then put the image into the main dropbox folder - FAIL!

Change “www” to “dl” in your url.

WHY is my image all squished???
It’s not squished. It’s resized to the width of the forum (and thank esoTalk for that). That way, nobody can break the forums placing huge images (something I loathe, personally).
Opening the image in a separate tab opens it in full size. Could be worth wrapping the image in a link to the image to help with this.
I don’t see here any images from Dropbox anyway because the company blocks it.
For me it’s even funnier. I can use dropbox, but the web proxy doesn’t allow me to see it, so I can upload images and share links, change their www to dl so the URL points to the actual file but I can’t ever see if I did it right until I get home and check the thread
