Server Ranger 1.1 Released with New Features for Website and Server Monitoring

Belfast, UK - LibertyApp Ltd. today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Server Ranger 1.1, the latest version of the company’s website and server monitoring solution for the macOS platform, developed using Xojo.

This is the fifth update to Server Ranger since its initial release so now as well as stability fixes, we’re starting to add new features. Top of the list this time is the ability to add multiple email addresses to Warning and Offline alerts - plus, the addresses can be different for each type of alert.

Also new in version 1.1 is the option of adding the hostname to emails that are sent - this allows you to identify the computer that Server Ranger was running on when it discovered the issue with a node. If you monitor the servers of multiple customers with multiple sites, the hostname being right in the alert email can act as a further identifier.

Release Notes
• [NEW] Add multiple email addresses which can receive Warning and Offline alerts (thanks Richard)

• [NEW] Optionally add the hostname to email alerts so that you know which computer the alert originated from. Useful if you run Server Ranger from multiple sites (thanks Luke)

• [CHANGE] Easier pasting of full URLs (thanks Hal)

• [CHANGE] Latency graph no longer shows the last latency time when a server goes offline. Graph now drops to -1, making it easier to see at a glance (thanks Jan)

• [FIX] Correctly saves the number of Warning and Offline checks before an alert is issued

• More bug fixes and UI tweaks
