Searching for Help?

Isn’t it boring to have to choose the kind of object when you ask for Canvas Help ?

Kind of objects:
• Desktop
• Mobile
• Web

Remember, I ask using Xojo Help (not the web help via a browser - Firefox).

ALSO: you cannot get the help in Xojo if a project is not Open.

SO: Xojo can know what type of project I am working on | the disambiguation is useless AND BORING.

Your opinion ?

Yes, the solution is to type DesktopCanvas (in that case, Desktop is useless since Xojo knows the kind of project I use)

i made long ago a suggestion having a help context. and not here is all i know.

I think I too asked for a Help for the current project only (when developing for a Desktop application, I do not care about other targets / and because a project is still “locked” to a target: this is useless to show help for other targets).

Worst: if one day we will have “one project” → “multiple targets”, it will be easy to add CheckBox to select whet documentation to show…

But this day is not for tomorrow, I suspect a Xojo whole rewrite to achive that goal.

It would have another benefit: one can get original API as help (you know the old one that I used for so many years (more than 20 years)…
