Saving projects in Text or XML formats

The Xojo website says that:

“A Xojo License Key is required to save a project in Text or XML formats.”

I have two Xojo licenses: “Xojo Lite Linux” and “Raspberry Pi Console” but when I save my projects, this is the only option available to me:

Granted, my licenses are at the very bottom end of the Xojo product line but it does say that a license is all that is required to save projects in Text or XML formats.

So, can anyone tell me what versions of Xojo actually allow you to save a projects in Text or XML formats? I’m struggling with version review/control and need text based projects files.

You would need Full Desktop or Xojo Pro to save in both.

Dana, Thank you for the clarification. I sent you an email with a couple of questions. I would like to upgrade but your response will determine whether I can upgrade to Desktop or Pro.

You probably should update the website to specify which license is required to save a project in Text or XML formats.

Now that I’ve upgraded to Xojo Pro I can save to all formats.
