Since some time I notice a strange behavior with Safari on OSX 10.10.2 Yosemite, on a Retina MBP:
When I click a link to open in a new tab and then return to the original tab, then there is a black rectangle showing up around the clicked link.
Has anyone else noticed such a thing before?

Have you ever launched a game and seen a jumbled display of what you were recently looking at in Safari?

No, I have no games on this machine.
This Macbook Pro is not even 3 years old and last year the ssd failed and now the graphics card starts to shake ? Arghh…
