rename controls

Hello,

Xojo 2014 can’t rename controls, please how do i proceed to rename TextField1 control ?

  1. Click on Inspector in the toolbar to display the Inspector
  2. Click on the control in the Layout
  3. Enter a new name in the Name property field in the Inspector
  4. Press return

It does, you just have to remember to either hit return or tab out of the name field. FWIW, it’s a very annoying bug and I get bit by it every day.
