Hey, has anyone made an iOS app that can receive a remote push notification?
What I have understood after growing the forum is that Jason King did some ground work already but that there is a problem with the Xojo IDE. The IDE seems not to work correctly with the entitlement or provision file as reported by Antonio Rinaldi on 14 Feb 2015 (Feedback no: 38187). So, it will never work even with all the necessary declares.
I am new (just one week) to Xojo. Could anyone of the experienced guys, Antonio or perhaps Jason confirm the above? If so, I certainly have a serious problem with the app I am developing as it requires remote notification support

2015r3 fixed the issue but I haven’t yet had time to make sure the classes work yet. I’ll be able to look into it in a few weeks but I’m busy until then.
Just feels a bit unfair that you Jason is responsible for an important function like this, can´t anyone from the xojo team help you?
We need some further investigation… but maybe (I said maybe) exists a solution

Hopefully we get a fix in 2016r1. 2015r3 partially fixed a related issue but entitlements still don’t work so this isn’t possible yet.
