Release 2015r2 not running Linux server

When uploading file on Linux Server using r2, this compilation is not supported.

I made a test with r1 and it is OK.

It is a new application with only some static text, field text and button.
No code.

There have been a few reports of apps not running on Linux with R2:

  • You now need to load the 32 bit libicu package on the server, it is no longer bundled with the app (I believe that this is in order to reduce the size of the app package).
  • Others have had to remove database references. There are other threads on this issue on the forums.
  • Other issues were reported that require coding corrections. R2 is stricter in allowing or not certain practices. There is at least onte other thread on this issue.

Start with libicu. That’s the most likely suspect.
