Usually I worry about apps quitting prematurely.
Sometimes when I choose quit from the file menu nothing happens. I try again and nothing. I have to force quit my app to get it well, quit!
anyone else experience this?
Well, it seems like opening and closing a global window caused it to not be able to quit the app … not sure how that makes any sense. It didnt matter whether it was carbon or cocoa.
I thought I fixed it when I changed the window type. The bug is back.
So, I was stepping through the code when I hit the quit function. I step and step and eventually run out of code to step through and my app is still open refusing to quit normally by itself.
Any ideas? My customers will not like an app that has to be force quit everytime…
Could any threads possibly be preventing your app from quitting?
