Project Controls?

I’m lost… Maybe things have changed.
I want to run an application in a shell.
I seem to recall that shell was on the library pane… but it doesn’t seem to be there anymore.

I created a shell subclass in my project and then dragged it from the left project panel onto my window.
Then I’m all set…

However:

I’m confused over why some things are in my Project Controls and other things are not.

Again I’ve also forgotten manage a simple tool bar on my window…
I drag a copy of a tool bar from the library into the left project panel then onto the window, then… I can’t figure out how to edit it.

These concepts seem to baffle me…

I drag a copy of a tool bar from the library into the left project panel then onto the window, then… I can’t figure out how to edit it.

On a desktop project, you select the one in the Navigator (on the left) and edit it as a class.

On a web project, you drag it to a WebPage and click the little pencil icon in the lower right corner of the toolbar.
