Progress Bar

I have a progress bar to show the progress on a long update. It works great as long as I do not leave the Window but if I go to another program on my computer, it stops showing the progress although the update continues. How can I keep the progress bar current even when I am doing something else?

Mac or Windows? Which version of Xojo? Are you using threads to update your progress bar?

Windows and no, I am not using threads.

But, when you come back to your program, the progressbar gets back moving, right ?

I’ve seen it where screen updates freeze in such a scenario. Use a thread.
