hello,
is a Privacy Policy agreement from me also required if the end user collect data in a app in his own environment?
i try to bring a desktop app into the ms app store.

i just use a generated document to be save …

i think nobody can prosecute me because i do not collect any data.
unfortunately the ms store force me to add a Privacy Policy and so i just done it.

IANAL but in that case I think this privacy policy cuts it:

Privacy Policy
%Company_Name% does not collect user data.

The App Store forces a privacy policy too.

it seems also there is no world wide standard so you need to copy all you can into this privacy policy agreement.

Just make sure any logging or trace information you capture and receive as part of an error report does not include any data captured by your clients/customers and you should be OK.
