Phoenix, Arizona (May 10th 2018) – piDog Software releases version 1.10.2 of DataView and piDogScrollingCanvas
DataView and piDogScrollingCanvas have been updated to improve the demo project, fix several bugs and add a few new features.
Highlights include:
[Demo] Added Column hiding, Column.FieldName, editable on/off to DataBase demo
[New] Added TypePassword for use in CellType and ColumnType.
[New] Group headings now float at top of View until last child scrolls up.
[New] Now allows DataSource to be shared amongst multiple DataViews
[New] Added FlatHeader property [New] Added ListColumn.HeadingTextWrapMode
[New] Added ListColumn.defaults to allow setting default properties for subsequent new columns
[New] Added listColumn.FieldName for convenience when using database as backing store
[Bug] Show/Hide constant now dynamic to fix failure to display on Group headings
[Bug] Setting ListIndex now fires Change event
[Bug] Cellrect drawing now behaves when locked columns are in play
[Bug] Mac cell editor no longer has a horizontal scrollbar
[Bug] CellBorders no longer overdraw previously drawn cells with CellBorders
[Bug] Gridlines no longer overdraw celBorders
piDogDataView is intended to be an easy to use replacement for Xojo’s Listbox control, providing more capabilities and a native feel.
piDogDataView and piDogScrollingCanvas are a package and are available together encrypted for $99 or with source code access for $349. Both licenses include one year of updates from the date of purchase.
