The picture of an ImageWell appears in the upper left corner.
OK at runtime.

Conformed. I see the same bug here. You should definitely file a bug report, so this be fixed in an upcoming release.

That’s an odd regression. does the same thing happen if you use a canvas to display the pic? (I don’t have a Win machine currently on which to test)
It is the result of the full implementation of HiDPI.
And no, the issue does not manifest with canvas.backdrop. Which is a nice workaround.
