Is there a way to permanently set the environment variable WIRINGPI_GPIOMEM? So it is set at a reboot?

puting export WIRINGPI_GPIOMEM=1 in a bash file didn’t work yet.

I believe that there was a solution for this question at GPIO module for Raspberry Pi now on GitHub. Try Didier Cugy’s steps with the post on 8 Aug 2016.

Let me know if this works.
