impressive work, Alex, as always …
is there any chance to get a windows version ?
I think there is no official Sane Windows version.
http://www.sane-project.org/sane-support.html
only this
http://www.xsane.org/xsane-win32.html
and I have only Windows XP on an old Notebook … (I prefer OS X & Linux)
that’s the first time I see something ported to so many platforms and not for windows !!!
After my 4100C died the Hardware death, I invested 4 in a used scanjet 2300C.
a new version (OSX and Linux)

Hello Axel!
I want have a look into your scanner project file. I’ve loaded the zipped project file. But the file can’t be unzipped.
If I type in the terminal at the prompt “file SaneScannerXojo.zip” the answer is “SaneScannerXojo.zip: HTML document text, UTF-8 Unicode text, with very long lines”. But it should by some like “SaneScannerXojo.zip: Zip archive data, at least v2.0 to extract”.
I think the link is rotten.
During the great dropbox purge of 2017 many files were to be lost and a lone warrior set out to collect them all. The lone warrior did his best, but apparently all of Axel’s links got fubar’d up somehow. I blame Axel
Anywhoo, link is fixed.
Great. The link is working. Thanks!
