Notarization MacOS 2024 >

I have all my certificates in place, have a pkg package ready to be notarized. Are you guys using X-Code for the process or the terminal? 3rd party tools?

AppWrapper is currently the best / easiest tool.

It deals with lots more as well, including App Store submission.

The problem is, i get this error no matter what

the “App specific password”… is that something else than my apple developer password? If so, how to generate it?

Have you checked out this relatively recent blog post? It discusses the app-specific password bit.

It is an Application Specific password for AppWrapper to access your Apple developer login without having your master password. Login to appleid.apple.com using a username and password. When you do this there will be a button for creating App specific passwords. Give it a name so you know what it is for and take a note of the password it generates. Provide that password to AppWrapper, it should work a treat.

Be aware that if you change your AppleId, your app-specific passwords will become invalid and you would then need to go through that process (as described by @Ian_Kennedy again.

Not only invalid, but it totally removes all of the app specific passwords.

That includes changing your password.

Yes - sorry - changing the p/w is actually what I meant. But either way, it’s a pain, and led to incomprehensible error messages at first encounter.
