If I use the IDE to code-sign and then notarise an app, but want to distribute the app using a disk image (a .dmg), (along with, say, docs), do I need also to separately notarise the .dmg?
You always have needed to notarise the dmg and not the app.
Ah - thanks. So for my purposes, notarising the dmg but not bothering to do that with the app, will be the way to go for a distribution. However just for testing I can let the IDE do it.
