No simulators in Xojo available?

Hi,

I have Xcode 10.2.1, Xojo 2019r1 and a future alpha, but both show now simulators for iOS project.
The Xcode Devices & Simulator window shows over 20 simulators. As does the “xcrun simctl list” command line.

So what can I do?

future alpha of which? Xcode? if so, the issue might be that Xojo 2019 isn’t set up for a future Xcode yet
there is a way (I forget off the top of my head) to isolate different version so the Xojo would see only 10.2.1

The next Xojo version doesn’t help so far.

I didn’t try Xcode 11.

are you using a beta of Catalina as well? if so, I believe you would HAVE to use Xcode 11…

the version of Xojo, macOS and Xcode have to line up to a point for things to work

[which is why I … well never mind  ]

It’s MacOS 10.14.5.

The betas are in a VM only.

I used 2019R1.1 with XCode 10.1 under High Sierra 10.13.6 and it shows the simulator just fine.

I have macOS 10.14.5, Xcode 10.2.1 and have no simualtor issues…

HOWEVER… I am not using “Xojo for iOS”

Apple may have altered simctl output again :frowning:
They seem to like doing that

Xojo 2019 R1.x
Xcode 11
OSX 10.14.5
All works fine for me. 2019R1.1 ‘fixes’ the issue where sims do not show up if you are using Xcode 11

Please send the results of xcrun simctl list in a Feedback case.
