I have not looked at XoJo in years. wanted to try it out again and downloaded it. But it doesn’t look right.

yeah… your right… it doesn’t… to me it looks like a tiny blue box with a white question mark
[I think you .messed up the link to whatever image you were trying to show… ]
All kidding aside… I was able to see the image… and it looks like the standard default Xojo screen to me…
You might want to change the toolbox to use small icons or a list… but there is nothing wrong that I can see.
Same here. I checked the source of this page and searched the image URL to watch it.
It does look right (from here).
I think the problem is that Xojo is maximized but the work area is much smaller.

Enlarge it !
Sorry Emile, I don’t understand.
From what I can tell, the Xojo window is at max.
Look at the difference from David screen capture and mine:
David, are you running Xojo in Windows or Linux, what version (os)?
R O F L
Looks like a resize problem in the window, have you tried to kill the task and reopen?, restart the system?
For now, it is better if you stay with 2017r3, 2018 is not a good option, specially if you are in windows.

How does it look if you come out of fullscreen mode?
Are you running in a scaled resolution?
Are you spanning across monitors?
What version of macos are you running?
Did it correct itself after a reboot?
Have you tried reinstalling?
It is obvious that the MDI is at full, but the window is not. OK, window may not be the correct word on Windows, but your “window in an MDI” can be closed, so it can be resized.
I have only Windows XP here and this behavior does not exists. Opening two Projects opens two MDI objects
Thank you everyone, I will try to answer as concisely as I can.
I am on Elementary OS, it is based on Ubuntu 18.04.
I do not know what scaled resolution is really. I am 1920x1080. There is an option for “scaled resolution” it is set to “automatic” which is the default.
I am on a laptop, single monitor.
I have rebooted and reinstalled but this does not correct the problem.
When I first start Xojo it looks fine. But, when I start to enlarge the screen at all. Either by “Maximizing” the window or just dragging a corner to make it a little bigger, it doesn’t scale at all.

I don’t know why the image isn’t displaying correctly in these posts. Please just use the link.
Because
does not contain an URL which points to an image, but a Google Document.

Ya, I guess it isn’t supported. Shame, I’ll stick with Lazarus for now.
