Monterey 12.2

Nice, I’d heard about the battery drain due to a bug in their Bluetooth stack of 12.2, but not that it disabled Bluetooth.

Apple’s super buggy OS updates are really damaging their reputation and customer trust, yet at the same time, it actually earns them money, so I don’t see it changing until it starts to hurt them as much as they hurt their customers.

for the records, the 12.2.1 update did not solve this imac intel bluetooth desactivation problem …
now what ?

I am late at the party. I work with a MacBook Pro 16" with M1 Pro, running 14.1. was never told 14.2 was available. How did you install 14.2 ? A test version maybe ?

Thanks ?

Go to Préférences Système, Mises à jour logiciel and update… to 12.2.1.

Now it’s there ! But it wasn’t last week.

Thanks

That’s why it’s called staged updates.
They distribute it one day to 1%, then 2%, then 5% and so on until eventually everyone will get it.

Do they choose who gets it randomly, or rather using an unfair selection method?

Just be happy if you don’t get it automatically installed first day.
If there is a big bug bricking computers, you may enjoy getting it after 2 or 3 days.
So they can stop the update delivery and fix it before it hits you!

Good point. Suddenly, I’m hoping they send mine late.

Can’t you guys just move to manual control and choose what and when?
