Modal window can still select other windows

I am using a Movable Modal window to avoid that users can selected and work in the other windows until they close the Modal window. However, I noticed now that when I click the menu bar (top part) of the “normal” windows, I can after that simply edit the text feds on this window. Is this expected behaviour?

Not only do you have to use a Movable Modal window, your code must use ShowModal

var oWin as new myWindow
oWin.ShowModal

That’s what I have:

if winmain.ListChapters.SelectedRowIndex <> -1 then

ChapterRowSelected = winmain.ListChapters.SelectedRowIndex

 //SaveProject
  winmain.UpdateStoryInfo

  btnUpdateCharInfo.FillColor = &c52830000 //Green
  lblUpdateCharacterInfo.Text = "Character is saved"

  UpdateCharInfo

  if TextWriteChaptertext.Text <> "" then
    winmain.BackupWriteField
  end if

  winmain.ListChapters.SelectedRowIndex = ChapterRowSelected

  // Restore the cursor position when the TextArea gets focus
  If CurrentField = "WMTextWriteChaptertext" then
    TextWriteChaptertext.SelectionStart = cursorPosition

  end if

  **WinFullScreenChapterWrite.ShowModal**
  winmain.RefreshChapterListboxFS

else
  MessageBox("Please select a chapter first")
end if

Actually, I noticed now that this only happens when both windows are on a different monitor. When I place both on the same monitor, it’s not possible.
