does not include desktop application for mac and linux
Not shure about Mac as Xamarin suports Mac development. And Xamarin “secretly” supports Linux (developing the Mono platform) but not distributing the tooling (probably due to [sad for the community, good for Xamarin] M$ agreements).
Anyway, while M$ makes money from their OS’s, their OS’s will get more love than the rest. So, it’ll be a biased cross-platform.
