Methods mysteriously highlighted in Red

Anyone know what this means? See attached. My first guess is it means something is deprecated, but I changed that function and the method is still red.

I have also encountered a yellow highlight as well in other contexts.

Red = Private
Yellow = Protected

And you can change that appearance under Preferences / Navigator to a small dot:
