MBS VLC - Can I...?

I’m gaining some speed with the MBS VLC plugin but one thing is evading me.

Can I extract the audio level as it plays? I’m triggering every half second, and seeing if I can determine if a stream is getting louder progressively or had long periods of silence.

Nothing stands out in the docs and googling in VLC/Videolan is not going anywhere fast. The VLC app allows Visualizations so the data is somewhere!

Trying to be cross platform on this.

I updated recently the plugin to latest VLC API.
If there is no function in libvlc, I fear I can’t really help here.

But if you see something I missed, please tell me.

Thanks for the reply. Nothing stands out in a quick glance of the videolan libvlc documentation but I shall give it a good glance tonight. :slight_smile:
